My family has made it a tradition to cut our own Christmas tree after Thanksgiving. I told this to my friend, and he thought that we actually go to the woods and cut a random Redwood tree, hahaha! There are Christmas tree farms in areas like Half Moon Bay where a variety of Christmas trees are grown (ex: Douglas, Noble, Concolor Fir). They provide a saw that you use to cut the tree of your liking. If you’ve never experienced cutting your own tree, I definitely recommend that you try it! It is a lot of fun, and your house will smell amazing!
