One of the great things about skirts is that you can reuse them to create totally different outfits. You can dress a skirt up or down depending on the occasion. For this post, I put together three different outfits using this pink maxi skirt from Shein. The material of the skirt is silky, and the color of it is so pretty! However, I had to get it altered because it was just too long (or maybe I’m too short, haha!). Here are my three outfits:
OUTFIT 1: SEMI FORMAL
OLD NAVY TOP | SHEIN SKIRT (size LArge) | STEVE MADDEN HEELS | NORDSTROM RACK NECKLACE | SHEIN PURSE
To style the skirt semi formally, I wore a black lace top and heels. I also added some jewelry to the outfit, including a statement necklace. One of the ways I like to dress up an outfit is by wearing a statement necklace. I would wear this outfit to an evening event. If the event was during the day, I would probably trade the black top for a white one just to brighten up the outfit.
OUTFIT 2: CASUAL
H&M JACKET | oLD NAVY TANK | SHEIN SKIRT (SIZE LARGE) | PAYLESS HEELS | COLE HAAN PURSE
The second outfit that I styled is more on the casual side. I threw on a denim jacket over a striped tank and wore my brown sandals. Aside from wearing denim jackets, another way to dress down a fancy skirt is to pair it with a graphic tee or chambray.
OUTFIT 3: STREET CHIC
AMERICAN EAGLE TOP | SHEIN SKIRT (SIZE LARGE) | STEVE MADDEN HEELS | JUICY COUTURE PURSE
For this last outfit, I wore a cold shoulder top from American Eagle. I have to be honest and say that these types of tops are not something that I usually wear, but I thought I’d try something new! I would wear this outfit if I were going to the city. It’s not too formal or too casual.
Which outfit was your favorite?
Let me know which outfit you liked the best, and if you want me to do more of these types of posts! I had fun planning out all of these outfits. Thank you for reading! 🙂
