Senior year so far is hectic. There’s more homework than ever, and on top of that, there’s a clock ticking loudly, reminding me that college apps are due in just a few months. I’ve found myself thinking, “What do I need to do to get to this college?” and “There is no way that I will be able to do this”. I have been placing all of this burden and stress on myself when there is a God above that cares and just wants me to trust in Him. Proverbs 3:5, a verse that we memorize when we are young, commands us to trust in the Lord, but sometimes we are so consumed in our problems that we forget to do just that. However small or large the trial you are going through is, I encourage you to give it to God. Have faith in Him because He has the best plan in store for your life.
love,
Blaze Ann
“If the world from you withholds of its silver and its gold,
And you have to get along with meager fare,
Just remember, in His Word, how He feeds the little bird –
Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.”
Hymn: “Leave it There” by Charles Albert Tindley
